Global Supply Chain Institute
In 2011, UT created the Global Supply Chain Institute, a center of expertise that coordinates UT’s broad spectrum of supply chain offerings and fulfills industry’s need for global supply chain information and best practices. The Institute delivers executive education, industry forums, research initiatives, custom programs, global partnerships, corporate supply chain audits, and more.
The Institute also brings a global perspective to supply chain issues through its relationships with top tier academic institutions in Asia, Latin America, and Central and Western Europe. These global partnerships are a key factor in UT's uniquely holistic approach to supply chain management.
While other institutions focus on one aspect of the supply chain, whether it's procurement or operations or manufacturing or logistics, the Global Supply Chain Institute covers one end of the supply chain to the other, from raw materials procurement all the way down to the point of sale and the end user.
